John E. Blomquist

WOLFEBORO - John E. Blomquist, 90, who was a resident of SunBridge Nursing Home in Wolfeboro, died Aug. 18, 2003. Born in Dannebrog, Neb., on Aug. 24, 1912, he was the son of Isaac and Emily (Olson) Blomquist. He lived in Nebraska until 1927, when they moved to Greenland. John was a great animal lover, especially of pigs. He was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis M. E. Nickulas who passed away in 2002. Family members include his brother, Rayfield W. Blomquist of Portsmouth; sister, Marjorie E. Bond of Candia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Verne Wood Funeral Home - Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth, Sat. 10-11 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. Friends invited. Flowers will be accepted.
